The Communications Manager will lead integrated communications and employer brand initiatives in India to elevate RSM’s brand, strengthen the talent experience and deliver compelling storytelling across internal and external channels.
This role combines strategic thinking, brand storytelling and operational excellence to drive high impact communications aligned with firm priorities. The role will partner closely with India and global leaders to ensure clear, consistent and high-quality messaging that supports firm goals and strengthens RSM’s reputation.
Communication and employer brand building - 60%
Lead integrated communications and marketing initiatives that strengthen talent engagement and position RSM as an employer of choice in India.
Internal communication: Drive a structured internal communications program that informs, engages and inspires RSM people while reinforcing RSM’s strategy, culture and leadership priorities.
Build and manage a structured internal communications framework including message architecture, leadership narrative pillars and channel strategy.
Develop and execute internal communication campaigns, including leadership updates, firm initiatives, market communications and crisis messaging.
Ensure clarity, consistency and alignment with firm strategy, brand voice and communication standards.
Track engagement metrics and continuously optimize channel effectiveness.
Talent marketing: Strengthen RSM’s employer brand through compelling storytelling and strategic campaigns.
Develop and execute integrated employer brand campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels.
Create forward-looking content strategies and brand narratives that highlight culture, growth opportunities and talent experiences.
Use audience insights and analytics to improve reach, engagement and campaign performance.
Reputation and PR: Support the development and execution of initiatives that enhance RSM’s reputation in India.
Contribute to a proactive PR and reputation roadmap aligned with brand narratives.
Develop thought leadership content, media assets and leadership profiling to build brand credibility.
Manage external agencies and vendors to deliver PR and brand initiatives effectively.
Ensure consistent brand positioning and messaging across external channels.
Change management and leadership visibility - 20%
Support leadership communication and change initiatives that enable transparency, alignment and organizational momentum.
Develop communication strategies for strategic initiatives, transformation programs and firm priorities.
Partner with senior leaders to shape clear, authentic leadership narratives
Ensure consistent messaging across leadership, teams and communication channels during periods of change.
Process, reporting and automation - 10%
Strengthen communication operations through data, technology and continuous improvement.
Build communication performance dashboards and reporting frameworks to measure effectiveness.
Use data and insights to improve campaign performance and communication impact.
Leverage AI tools and digital communication platforms to enhance productivity, automation and content development.
Continuously assess communication programs and recommend process improvements and innovation opportunities.
Stakeholder management - 10%
Act as a trusted communications partner to cross functional teams.
Partner with India and global stakeholders to align communication strategies with firm priorities.
Provide strategic communication counsel on messaging, campaigns and engagement initiatives.
Build strong cross functional relationships to enable collaboration, alignment and effective execution.
Education/certifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or a related field.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in communications, marketing or related discipline.
Experience
Requires:
8–10+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, marketing or employer branding
Experience developing integrated communication strategies within a global or matrixed organization
Strong experience in internal communications, employer brand building, digital marketing and PR.
Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex communication initiatives
Experience working with data, insights and performance metrics to improve impact
Prior experience working with media, PR agencies or brand campaigns.
Familiarity with AI tools, digital communication platforms and content management systems

Requires:
Exceptional storytelling, writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex business topics into clear, engaging narratives.
Strong strategic thinking and execution discipline with close attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to adapt messaging for diverse audiences and channels while demonstrating data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and global environment to collaborate, influence and build trust across teams and geographies.
