Join our Team

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus is looking for a passionate and dedicated Commis II to join our dynamic Culinary team.

In this important role, you will support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef in daily cold kitchen operations, ensuring that each preparation meets the exceptional quality, hygiene, and presentation standards that define the Four Seasons experience. With a commitment to learning, precision, and teamwork, you will help deliver outstanding dishes that delight our guests and uphold the hotel’s reputation for excellence.

What you will do:

  • Prepare and present food items in line with Four Seasons Performance Standards, ensuring quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
  • Support daily cold kitchen operations, including mise en place for meats, seafood, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation at all times.
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and fire safety regulations without exception.
  • Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food supplies according to hotel standards.
  • Monitor stock levels, control waste, and ensure proper product rotation.
  • Follow all opening and closing procedures as directed by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Cooperate effectively with Stewarding, Food & Beverage outlets, and other departments to ensure smooth service flow.
  • Handle guest inquiries politely and report any feedback or complaints promptly to supervisors.
  • Attend required trainings, departmental meetings, and hotel events, demonstrating commitment to continuous learning.
  • Uphold the Four Seasons grooming, punctuality, and professionalism standards at all times.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to support kitchen operations.

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience in a 5-star hotel or equivalent fine-dining restaurant.
  • Graduate of a Tourism or Culinary Vocational School or equivalent training program.
  • Basic understanding of kitchen operations, food handling, and cold kitchen techniques.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and sanitation standards.
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Familiarity with Micros system and written kitchen orders.
  • Basic English communication skills, with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • A disciplined, eager-to-learn, and team-oriented attitude.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
