Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.About the role:
At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a dedicated Pastry Commis to join our Kitchen Department for the Season 2026 (minimum 6 or 7 months contract). This role plays a key part in supporting the production of high-quality pastries and desserts that delight our guests and uphold the hotel’s world-class culinary standards.
What You Will Do
Assist in the preparation and production of all pastry items according to the standards set by the Pastry Chef. Participate in creating and maintaining miseen place levels, produce tasting menus, and contribute to special occasion cakes as required. Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of ingredients. Maintain the pastry kitchen in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition, following all hygiene and safety guidelines. Use pastry equipment correctly, including mixers, ovens, sheeters, and blenders, while assisting in training staff on their proper use. Work closely with the Pastry Chef, Demi Chef de Partie, and all kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth operations and uphold the highest standards of quality and presentation.
