Summary

*This is an in-office position*

GEICO is seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Underwriting Technician II to join our commercial underwriting team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of federal and state filings as well as certificates. This position is ideal for individuals with strong processing abilities, a keen eye for detail, and the drive to meet deadlines while learning new tasks and adapting to a dynamic work environment.

$20.86/$42,032.90

• Must be able to commute to our Fredericksburg VA office
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be able to speak in a professional manner by telephone.
• Must perform duties at a stationary workstation.
• Must be able to follow instructions and have organization/priority setting skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to learn and apply large amounts of technical and procedural information.
• Must adhere to Code of Conduct, company policies, operating principles, meet attendance standards.
• Willingness to learn new skills and ability to adjust to changes quickly
• Open to feedback to support your performance and development
• Solid computer and multi-tasking skills
• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
