We are currently looking for a Commercial Specialist to join us at our facility in Asturias, Spain. The purpose of this position is to provide advanced commercial sales support to Group Account Managers/Sales Operational Leaders, help to drive a more effective sales process cross the organization and to ensure internal/external Customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain deep knowledge of assigned customers, including roles, decision-makers, and internal relationships.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and fulfilled.
  • Commercial Support: Provide advanced support to Account Managers and Sales Operational Leaders, including handling specific customer requests.
  • Order & Contract Management: Manage purchase orders, support contract reviews, and ensure compliance with SOX processes for pricing, rebates, and revenue recognition.
  • Pricing & Data Administration: Prepare price/service offers, manage price changes and updates in SAP/SFDC, and maintain customer master data and Salesforce records.
  • Financial Accuracy: Oversee accruals, validate price lists, and collaborate on past-due improvements and invoice discrepancy resolution.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Create reports (VOC, sales/value), administer customer portals, and manage web cycles and supplier declarations.
  • Process Compliance & Quality: Follow desk procedures aligned with IATF 16949 and other quality standards; ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Continuous Improvement & Training: Lead/support efficiency projects, provide backup coverage for other specialists, and train trainees.
  • Deal with Internal and External Stakeholders: Internal: Account Managers & Business Directors, Reconciliation Team, Technical Customer Lead, Sales Representatives, Demand Planning Specialist, CPU & Pricing Specialist, Sales Assistant, Finance, Customer Service Team, Legal Department, Data Management Team, Credit, Quality; External: Customers.

Key requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Core Skills: Strong business acumen, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • Communication & Accuracy: Excellent communication, analytical skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Languages: Fluent in English and German; additional language (French or Spanish) preferred.
