The Commercial Solutions Delivery lead is responsible for overseeing business analysts, administrators, and developers in the design, development, and implementation of Salesforce and related Commercial Applications. This role includes leading and coaching BAs through all project phases - planning, analysis, detailed design, collaboration with development teams, testing, implementation, and transition to support. It also ensures that admins and developers deliver solutions aligned with best practices and approved designs. In addition, the role provides oversight of custom application capabilities and partners with stakeholders to drive the transition toward Sensata Enterprise applications.
General Responsibilities
- Define and own the Salesforce strategy, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and performance
- Partners with the business team to define a roadmap, create a strategy, and execute the implementation of identified solution
- Lead data modeling, integration, and security design across Salesforce and external systems
- Collaborate cross functionally with Business Partners, and other IT stakeholders including Solution Delivery Managers, Infrastructure, and Application Support teams to support implementations, resolve system gaps and offer solutions
- Partners with the PMO to establish and follow project standards and documentation requirements
- Partners with the Application Support team to ensure successful transition of new functionality and tools including problem management for existing solutions
- Serve as the internal trusted advisor to stakeholders, guiding decision making on platform capabilities and limitations
- Establish governance process and enforce coding, configuration, and security standards
- Evaluate and recommend Salesforce AppExchange products, third party integrations, and partner with cross functional team members in IT
- Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory standards
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases and technologies
- Drive continuous improvement of new Salesforce features
- Optimize system performance and usability
- Push efficient system processes through scalable, sustainable solutions, and reducing existent complexities.
- Designs, implements, tests and deploys necessary components using the latest technologies and best practices
- Ensures effective enterprise system deployment, and effectively manages consolidation of disparate solutions for reduced technology spend
- Manages proactive oversight and mentorship to Business Analysts fostering re-use, design for scale, stability, and operational efficiency
Experience / Qualifications
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

7+ years of Salesforce experience, with minimum of 2 years in an architect or lead role
Proven ability to work across multiple domains, including ERP, cloud applications, security, data governance, and integration projects.
Delivering large scale Salesforce implementations
Deep understanding of Salesforce platform (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Automation tools (Flows, Approval, Assignment Rules)
Experience with integration tools (Oracle Integration Cloud preferred)
Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control
Ability to oversee custom application development, enhancements, and system integrations.

Base Salary Range:
$116,400.00 - $159,940.00
