Role Title: Commercial Services

Role Description:
The successful candidate will provide Commercial Services as required, including, but not limited to, the following:
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Procurement submissions (Endorsement to Proceed, Letter of Request, Liability Risk Assessment, Section 60 and Section 23 under the PGPA Act)

• Monitoring and reporting on the status of FMS case deliverables

• Monitoring and actioning case closure activities

• Procurement planning, tendering and contract formation

• Preparation of approval documents, written reports and correspondence

• Preparation of contract documents using the ASDEFCON templates

• Contract management administration tasks

• Monitoring and actioning contract-related correspondence and documentation

• Providing input to contract management reporting

• Preparing briefs and responding to action items

• Liaising with Contractors and other Defence agencies

• Ensuring compliance with Intellectual Property (IP) and export control requirements

• Reviewing requests for the provision of IP and/or Technical Data to third parties

• Advising the Program Manager on required actions

• Providing contract management advice and support on commercial, contract management and Intellectual Property matters within the program.

• Drafting and critically reviewing relevant Management Plans and associated instructions

• Supporting tools and processes to improve management of supplier performance and project and product outcomes

• Budget management, including managing purchase orders and invoicing within the ERP system.

Essential Requirements:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to negotiate desirable outcomes Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to engage collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
The ability to understand contractual artifacts and contract management plans to procure goods and services to meet complex stakeholder needs.

Desirable Requirements:
A tertiary degree or higher in business, law, commerce, finance or similar

Required Security Clearance Level: NV1

Location: Brisbane

Hours: 80hr per fortnight, as agreed with client.
