Your Work Matters

As a Commercial Sales Representative, you shape the heartbeat of our builder community—one project, one relationship, and one job site at a time. You’ll be the face of Floor & Decor for builders and contractors, helping them solve real project needs with products that keep schedules moving and budgets on track. This is hands-on, people-first work that directly impacts how commercial projects come to life.

Your Day Consists Of

  • Visiting job sites and builder offices to introduce, promote, and sell Floor & Decor products that align with real project timelines and requirements.
  • Supporting builders with product selection, quoting, and the coordination details that keep their projects on schedule.
  • Following up on leads from store teams, networking efforts, and your own market awareness.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with commercial builders, contractors, and developers.
  • Working closely with internal teams to ensure inventory, delivery, and service stay seamless for your customers.
  • Attending local builder events and trade shows to expand visibility and strengthen community connections.

You’ll Be Successful With

  • Experience in customer-facing environments such as construction, retail, or contractor services—and a comfort level working on active job sites.
  • Strong relationship-building instincts, especially with builders and trade partners who value reliability and follow-through.
  • Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish), which help you connect with a broader range of commercial customers.
  • Familiarity with your local building market and a willingness to travel daily across your territory.
  • Organization, persistence, and curiosity—traits that help you manage multiple projects while learning new products and trends.
  • Basic tech skills (Microsoft Office, email, CRM tools like Salesforce) and the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Work Environment / Physical Expectations

  • Daily travel within the assigned region to visit job sites and builder offices.
  • Occasional participation in trade shows or builder events.
  • Work environment varies from quiet office settings to active construction sites.
