We’re looking for a Commercial Paralegal to join Snap’s Advertising & Marketing Legal Team! You will play a key role in partnering with and advising the Legal, Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional teams on cutting edge legal issues globally relating to Snap’s advertising and marketing activities primarily across EMEA, as well as in other markets where required.
What you’ll do:
Provide support primarily to the EMEA marketing team on contractual arrangements with vendors and agencies across the region;
Ad hoc support on marketing asset review relating to Snap’s external marketing activities;
Draft master services agreements, production agreements, sponsorship agreements, statements of work and other commercial agreements relating to Snap’s marketing activities including ad-hoc negotiation where required;
Advise Snap’s marketing team on new marketing initiatives including compliance across a number of jurisdictions;
Help establish and implement best practices for advertising & marketing legal and cross-functional teams; and
Assist the wider advertising and marketing legal team with other projects as needed.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience working as a paralegal with a fast-growth company in the technology space;
Sound working knowledge general of contractual matters and knowledge/demonstrated practical experience with advertising and marketing issues;
Outstanding analytical, communication, organizational, and time management skills;
Detail-oriented, business-friendly team player, with an ability to accommodate tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to handle stressful situations and ability to maintain calm and professional regardless of circumstance;
Strong ability to handle multiple internal clients with numerous and varying needs; and
A phenomenal teammate with demonstrated ability to work closely with others in a manner consistent with Snap’s values.
Minimum Qualifications:
LLB + LPC
4+ years paralegal experience, with a significant portion of it working within a fast pace in-house legal team
