The Commercial Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient and professional delivery of administrative processes to support the Commercial function, as well as providing support to external NHS - SISTEMA NACIONAL DE SALUD stakeholders throughout their end-to-end Insulet journey. This process driven and skilled individual will be responsible for the tactical delivery of customer facing support, provision and delivery of key commercial data and optimisation of process efficiencies across the SPAIN region with the aim of driving revenue, growth and customer success with Insulet and Omnipod therapy.
Responsibilities
· Building and maintaining strong relationships with key external commercial stakeholders, especially Procurement Leads and Finance Managers, to foster loyalty, drive recurring business, and ensure long-term strategic alignment.
· Understanding customer needs, industry trends, and market conditions to co-develop tailored commercial procedures that support client objectives and reinforce collaborative work.
· Acting as the main point of contact for external commercial stakeholders by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, sharing product developments and contractual changes, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
· Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and account plans using CRM tools to guarantee visibility and alignment across internal teams.
· Become main point of contact for internal systems coordination being able to provide feedback to SAP, Accountancy and Invoicing departments as well as Customer Care granting smooth and top level experience for patients and HCP’s.
· Collaborating closely with internal teams such as Sales, Commercial, and Market Access to align strategies and develop account plans that drive acquisition and retention of new customers.
· Discussing purchasing routes, frameworks and all contract-related matters with clients to ensure a compliant and smooth contract-to-cash process.
· Develop a open mindset approach to introduce new tools and metrics to get Business Intelligence analytics, giving the Board clarity on best practices and top performance activities.
· Overseeing and implementing adjustments to contract-to-cash processes in response to NHS - SISTEMA NACIONAL DE SALUD operational changes, ensuring uninterrupted workflows for orders, invoicing, and payments.
· Maintaining deep knowledge of products, services, and industry best practices to provide valuable insights and advice to clients.
· Become SAP specialist oriented to customize local stakeholders requirements and mandatory elements for tender submissions.

· Acting as the first point of escalation for commercial queries and requests with payer-type stakeholders.
· Owning, reviewing, and approving commercial documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy.
· Proactively organizing effective reports ensuring effective management decisions.
· Assessing operational priorities and making decisions on process improvements and strategic initiatives that impact commercial performance across the region.
· Overseeing contract implementation and validating alignment with strategic objectives.
Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors

Education and Experience
· Proven experience in commercial, sales, or account management roles.
· Degree educated or equivalent qualification, MBA or superior level would be valuable but not essential.
· Proven success in client relationship management, contract negotiation, and revenue growth.
· Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, market access, customer care)
· Familiarity with CRM systems (like Salesforce)
· Experience in the NHS - SISTEMA NACIONAL DE SALUD / Diabetes industry
· Highly competent in the use of virtual communication platforms e.g., Microsoft Teams
· Proficiency with computers, especially MSExcel, MSPowerPoint & MSOutlook
· SAP high level knowledge
· Deep understanding of logistic solutions and customer care support
· Expert in CRM management and specially used to work with Salesforce
Additional Information
· The position is hybrid at our Madrid office.
· Occasional business travel may be required to Insulet regional locations for internal business meetings as and when required.
