The Position:

The position holder (m/f/d) is responsible for driving sales operations and value creation activities within the region. This role supports Commercial Head(s) to achieve target P&L in the assigned territories, managing all elements of the profit and loss statement and providing decision support and transparency for all financial decisions impacting the business.

Your Tasks:

  • Drive, consult and support discussions around plan scenarios, capture core assumptions, analyze market share trends, optimize structure expense and build blue plans, outlining incremental opportunities.
  • Collect and report rationale for variances and deviations to target. Provide rationale and insight to specific risks and opportunities
  • Drive commercial processes within the region by monitoring the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essentials to the sales organization as well as providing KPI’s for bonus calculation
  • Build and implement models for improvement of commercial processes, that can maximize efficiencies and profitability
  • Economic Profitability (EP): Support and coordinate EP initiatives in the region, provide support to the team with EP related queries. Monitor EP progress and development within region. Assist by identifying appropriate opportunities for EP improvement and assisting with implementation and monitoring
  • Integrated Business Planning (IBP): Support IBP process/reviews monthly, assist with data analysis and ensure follow-up on information. Ensure compliance to Division requirements for IBP and improving trends of all IBP metrics. Assist with detailed analysis of problematic areas with sustainable improvement ideas
  • Product Launches: Work closely with Marketing to tie in with marketing strategy for product launches
  • Sales Force Effectiveness: Analysis of sales information on a monthly basis to assist Country Manager to determine that time spent is on the right accounts, with the right contacts and with the right frequency. Assist in determining key KPI’s to make the information easy to understand and follow but identify issues or concerns quickly
  • Lead productivity workshops, facilitate improvement action plans and monitor execution
  • Lead resource in bonus design and calculations and incentive plan reviews

Your Qualification:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
  • Preferred to have 3+ years of business experience in a similar role or finance
  • Experience in driving business performance management processes
  • Very good knowledge and experience in Excel and Data Analytics
  • Team oriented, analytical and highly organized
  • Results driven - confident, thrives on hard work and consistent challenges. Monitors quantitative progress measures and acts quickly on deviations from plan
  • Must have demonstrated ability to operate within a cross-functional team
  • Highly organized with strong communication and influencing skills
  • Excellent English Language Skills, another language is a plus
