Job Description
You will manage the development of marketing programs and campaigns to maximize customer demand and sales growth for Rockwell Automation's Global Process Industries.
You will work for the Global Industry Strategy and Marketing Director and collaborate with multiple internal organizations and professionals at multiple levels, globally, including Regional Sales & Marketing, Industry Teams, Business Units and Marketing Function.
Your responsibilities - what you will do
- Responsible for the planning, budget requirements, and delivery of global commercial programs/campaigns including inbound/outbound marketing, media relations, events, sales enablement, training and other pre-sale marketing communication tactics working with the broader marketing department at corporate, regions, and business units.
- Help develop commercial plan and budget. Understand how to apply marketing techniques to provide the most effective programs using modern marketing strategies including ABM and Digital Nurturing.
- Stay informed about marketing trends and introduce new approaches to marketing programs that grow sales revenue.
- Have an operational knowledge of how to manage and maximize shared services resources.
- Motivate project and campaign team members and within constraints as defined by the commercial plan and budget. Motivate cross-business and cross-regional teams even when such programs are outside of their daily tasks.
- Identify metrics to measure every program. Understand the tools available to determine the metrics.
- Demonstrate capability to work on multiple types of projects at any one time. Manage commercial programs for market/segments with different target audiences and drivers. Work with global cross-business and cross-regional teams to use your experience where is it available.
- Work with cross-business and cross-regional teams to develop programs that meet global needs or can be easily used globally. Share development of materials so that the most appropriate region takes the lead.
- Understand customer and channel requirements to develop appropriate sales tools and promotions and measure their effectiveness.
- Work with the Commercial Engineering and Sales/Revenue Enablement organizations to define the main activities supporting Commercial Plan.
- Keep informed about marketing trends and use creative approaches to develop the most effective programs to increase sales revenue.
- Assist in preparation for main Rockwell Automation trade shows and self hosted events including strategy, attendee promotions, exhibit updates, programs/materials, meeting rooms, audio visual, hospitality, graphics, staffing, and other necessary responsibilities to complete a successful show.
- Use data to develop stronger insights for investment areas, market trends, and programs to identify growth strategy. (example: using analysis for product and solution ABM targets)
- Conduct tasks following applicable health, safety, quality and environmental regulations and RA GSM procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 or more years of experience in Strategic Commercial Marketing
- Industry knowledge for Energy/O&G, Mining/Metals, Renewables, and Power Gen are helpful
- Requires modern marketing technique knowledge like Account-based Marketing (ABM) and campaign planning
- Advanced English Level.
