Commercial Manager ViiV Healthcare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales leadership / field team orchestrator (30%)
    • Line management of 2 Customer Account Managers (CAMs)
    • Coach CAMs in developing account plan and orchestrate field teams (CAMs & MSLs) in the plan implementation
    • Drive achievement of team performance and KPI objectives
    • Support CAMs and MSLs in removing barriers to performance
    • Drive field omnichannel execution, ensuring alignment between marketing-led, CAM-led and MSL-led contents
  • Care pathway management (20%)
    • Map out opportunities and barriers along the HIV patient journey at HIV Reference Centers (HRCs)
    • Work with hospital stakeholders to develop partnerships/projects to help improve HIV care pathway, esp. related to LAI implementation
    • Lead cross functional team and agencies to deliver the care pathway solutions
  • National event management (20%)
    • SPOC for national events and EU/global-driven events. Note: regional events are led by respective CAMs.
    • Lead quarterly meetings with the marketing and medical teams to align quarterly priorities for field teams that require collaboration from the cross functional team
    • Coordinate with marketing and medical teams on HCP involvement in various local, national, EU/global activities, e.g. meetings, AdBoards, interviews, etc. to ensure involvement of the right HCPs in the right activities
    • Review and approve commercial activities, incl. events, sponsorships, etc.
  • Voice of the field (20%)
    • Participate in business planning, pre-QPR, pre-DRM and other strategic planning processes to ensure field insights are taken into account in decision making
    • Provide input on marketing materials to ensure relevance with field reality
    • Collaboration and alignment with marketing and medical teams in the preparation of team meetings
  • Capabilities (10%)
    • Contact person for Hub capability lead on sales capability building programs
    • Lead the implementation of global/regional L&D programs for the LOC

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing/medical/market access roles, at least 2 years of which is in sales leadership.
  • Proven leadership capabilities. Able to drive team performance in a caring, empowering and inclusive way.
  • Experience and confidence in engaging complex hospital stakeholders (e.g., Heads of Service, nurse coordinators, pharmacists, pathway coordinators).
  • Ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders
  • Advanced communication and influencing skills – both externally and internally
  • Professional proficiency in English. Fluent in French and/or Dutch and good understanding of both.

Other requirements:

  • This is a field-based role. Travel across Belgium for coaching, care pathway projects, team meetings, etc is required (20-30%).
  • To ensure strong collaboration with office teams, this role will require the candidate to be in the office at least 1-2 days/week
