Our Finance team provides strategic and operational Finance support to all areas of our Lendlease business. This includes establishing our systems, processes and reporting platforms to support business performance, analysis and day-to-day management.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Commercial Manager to join our NSW Development Finance team in Sydney. This is a 16-month fixed-term contract position (parental leave cover) offering the opportunity to lead the financial and commercial strategy across a portfolio of high-profile development projects. You’ll work closely with our Development Management team, capital partners, and senior stakeholders, reporting directly to the Head of Finance and Commercial, Development NSW.

What You’ll Be Doing:
Be a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, partnering with Project Directors to drive strategy and optimise commercial outcomes.
Collaborate across projects within the NSW Development Finance team, sharing insights and best practices.
Deliver strategic financial input for Joint Owners Committee and Lendlease Investment Committee approvals.
Lead forecasting and commercial assessments for Joint Ventures and internal stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with complex agreements including Unitholder, Development, and Financing Agreements.
Build strong relationships with Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Joint Venture partners.
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis, and insights.
Identify risks and opportunities, driving innovation and process improvements.
Coordinate cross-functional advice and approvals for new investment opportunities.
Develop and mentor finance and project teams, both onshore and offshore.
About You:
Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and influencing skills.
Resilient and solutions-focused, with a drive to add value and improve efficiency.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
CA or CPA qualified, with relevant tertiary education.
Strong experience in financial reporting, planning, or analytics.
