As the Commercial Management Director– Surgical, supporting our Turkey Surgical Business Unit, you will be trusted to shape local strategy, drive commercial excellence, and lead a high‑performing organization. You will play a pivotal role in delivering sustainable growth, strengthening Alcon’s market position, and developing future-ready talent.

In this role, a typical day will include: 

• Collaborating with regional and global leaders to translate global strategy into actionable local plans that accelerate growth 

• Leading cross-functional teams to deliver sales, market share, and profitability targets while upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct 

• Steering commercial operations, including distributor governance, tender strategy, and market access initiatives • Partnering with Finance, Regulatory, Legal, Supply, and Compliance to ensure operational excellence and business continuity 

• Engaging key stakeholders across the healthcare, policy, and customer ecosystem to expand access to Alcon’s Surgical portfolio

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) strongly preferred 

• Experience: 12+ years in commercial leadership roles within MedTech, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare; proven P&L ownership 

• Technical Skills:   – Expertise in commercial strategy, sales leadership, and marketing execution – Strong understanding of tendering, reimbursement, and market access frameworks – Proficiency in data-driven decision making, CRM utilization, and digital customer engagement 

• Behaviors:   – Strategic thinker with a bias for action – Inclusive, empowering leader who builds strong teams and talent pipelines – High integrity, resilience, and ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments
