As the Commercial Management Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering reliable, timely and accurate Financial results on a monthly basis. The monthly financial results are reported both internally to the UK Executive team and upwards to Group and therefore accuracy and timeliness within this role is critical.
As a key member of the Finance team, you will own the month end close process, supplying robust, clear and accurate P&L analysis which the Commercial Finance Business Partner team will use to underpin forward looking analysis and forecasts.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities
Responsibility for month end close and production of monthly management accounts for Belron UK Limited
Complete monthly checks to ensure data integrity is maintained
Support the Anaplan forecast submission by checking and validating historic actuals data
Own automated system postings as part of the month end process
Delivering high quality, robust management information and analysis to the commercial business partnering team
Provide robust financial ad hoc analysis to non-financial managers as and when required
Assist in the production of the monthly Belron pack reported to our parent company in line with the Belron® Calendar
Develop and maintain a reporting hub for financial information for the Finance function and external customers using financial and non-financial metrics, ensuring all reported data is consistent.
Responsible for maintaining records and back up documentation in manner to ensure that robust data can be provided to internal and external auditors as and when required
Involvement in annual forecast and budgeting activities for the business streams by supporting the commercial team with analysis on historic financial data
Responsible for the integrity and consistency of FTE reporting both internally and externally to Group
Support the Financial Reporting team with balance sheet reconciliation production
Maintain standard operating procedures for whole area of responsibility, identifying and implementing improvements
Proactively identifying areas of opportunity to improve both the quality of analysis and also identify areas where we can improve efficiency.
Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to the Management Accounts team.

Successful annual audit process
Clear, concise financial analysis produced as per requirements and agreed timetable
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent is preferable but not essential, we are happy to consider qualified by experience
Keen eye for detail with an ability to work to strict deadlines
Excellent skills in the use of Word and Excel
Oracle and Power BI experience is desirable but not essential
Analytical and inquisitive with a pro-active approach to meet both internal and external customer needs
Experience of dealing with internal and external auditors
Self-motivated, with the ability to organise your own workload
