Scope of Work

The Commercial Insights and Analytics Manager lead a team of analysts responsible for developing and producing best-in-class, internal and external analytics and reporting for the Commercial Markets / Employer Solutions division. This team develops and monitors action plans based on the data in order to partner with stakeholders, including employer groups, to improve the health and wellbeing of their members.

Essential Functions

  • Act as a key player in the assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of Priority Health's Employer Solutions data and reporting strategy. The Manager contributes to the Employer Solutions division's efforts to mitigate cost and drive value for the organization in collaboration with other internal leaders.

  • Maintain effective business partnerships with product, sales, marketing, medical, pharmacy, provider, external partners, etc. to ensure business case and customer satisfaction goals are met. Soliciting customer needs and developing solutions to deliver internal or external reports & dashboards.

  • Use fact-based management to collaborate with other key stakeholders to drive decision making and achieve desired business results. The Manager performs all duties necessary to ensure that Priority Health's reporting strategy is managed in an efficient, productive, and sustainable manner.

  • Foster a culture of greater partnership across departments. Interfaces seamlessly with any level of the organization and collaborates with individuals from a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds, communicating easily using whatever medium is required.

  • Recruit, develop, and motivate a high-performing team, providing career and skill development for the team. Inspire the team and other stakeholders in the organizational vision and strategy for growth.

  • Serve as a leader in shaping the data and analytics strategy for the organization, as well as building a strong culture of data-driven decision making.

  • Act as a change agent to create and support a positive change process, coaches and mentors team members, and operates as a role model and resource for staff. Key success factors for this role include exceptional communication skills, effective collaboration, and experience being part of, developing, and motivating high-performing teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree. Required

  • Master's Degree. Preferred

  • 5 years of relevant experience Business analytics, business support, or informatics in analytics, including proven leadership and management experience in a health plan, health system setting or healthcare consulting. Required

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience People management or consulting. Preferred
