ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Commercial Finance Manager for the Free Trade Zone (“FTZ”) and Border business, you will manage a market that generates around 100 million dollars per year in revenue with a high level of profitability. The position works very closely and reports directly to the General Manager of the unit. There`s a high level of exposure to the LAC Exec and cross-functional teams across LAC, besides intra-market and senior global functions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The role will primarily perform managerial duties related to leading monthly regional and financial BPMs, forecasting and goal setting, exercising senior judgement on decision-making to effectively guide internal conversations. Specifically, it will perform the following:

  • Lead the preparation and presentation of the monthly Regional BPM, to the LAC Executive including Regional President, CFO, Legal, leading the consolidation of financial and commercial performances into clear narratives that support decision-making across the business.

  • Lead the presentation of the monthly financial BPM to the LAC CFO.

  • Be financially accountable for the end-to-end P&L, from volume through operating profit, SIT, and working capital.

  • Actively manage the risk environment, identifying and implementing corrective actions to remediate issues, and ensuring adherence to controls and standards to mitigate reputational risks.

  • Act as a key business partner to the four people in the FTZ&B Commercial Team, which includes the General Manager, two Commercial Heads and a Commercial Planning and Activation (“CP&A”) Executive, assuming a leadership role in a cross-functional group based in US. Also, indirect leadership on multiple FP&A and Customer Service analysts based in Colombia.

  • Lead the development and implementation of the business’s AOP and 3-year plan, to improve value in alignment with strategic goals. Additionally, lead the O&R process internally, handling the identification of risks and opportunities, and leading all aspects of the tracking of commercial and marketing investments.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Business, Accounting or any related field.

  • Approximately 8+ years of progressive finance experience (CPG strongly preferred).

  • Excellent communication to navigate and influence multiple functions and levels of seniority.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities with the ability to simplify complexity.

  • Operate under ambiguity and a volatile environment guiding the commercial team and senior functions over a broader performance narrative.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, and strong digital fluency;

  • English proficiency (written, verbal, presentation).
