Role Purpose

The Customer Service & Application Engineer will support highly critical turbomachinery products by providing strong application engineering, responsive customer service, and commercial coordination. The role demands a Passion to Win, strong customer focus, and uncompromising integrity, while working closely with customers and internal cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide application engineering and technical support for turbomachinery products across enquiry, order execution, and after-sales stages.
  • Act as the technical interface between customers, sales, engineering, operations, and service teams.
  • Understand customer requirements and operating conditions to propose reliable and compliant technical solutions.
  • Respond promptly to customer queries, technical clarifications, and service issues, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare technical inputs for quotations, order documentation, and change management.
  • Develop reports, trackers, and data analysis using MS Excel.
  • Prepare professional technical and business presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Maintain accurate records and transactions in SAP and update opportunities, activities, and customer interactions in Salesforce.
  • Support customer meetings, reviews, and site visits as required.
  • Ensure full compliance with company processes, quality standards, and ethical guidelines.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience in turbomachinery application engineering, customer service, or technical support.
  • Strong application knowledge of turbomachinery / rotating equipment.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, report preparation, and PowerPoint presentations.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and Salesforce CRM.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
