Commercial Data Steward

Equifax is looking for a talented Data Steward to support our Commercial business.

What you’ll do

• Serve as the subject matter expert and data steward / execution analyst for identified commercial public record data assets, including development of metrics and reports for all levels of management.

• Execute proactive detection of data quality and data enhancement needs for data resources including the development and implementation of business rules/requirements with technology and other applicable organizational areas.

• Lead communications with internal and external partners regarding data issues, perform impact and risk assessments, and manage cross-functional teams in resolution or mitigation options.

What experience you need 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, information management, statistics, operations research or related field 

• 3-5 years’ experience with knowledge of data stewardship and/or within a data management environment and how they affect business decisions. 

• Experience with data handling/quality tools, ETL tools, SQL, GCP/BQ, Python

• Demonstrated organizational and project management skills 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional organization 

• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
