CHANEL is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity! We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Commercial Coordinator within Spain Retail Team, reporting to the Retail Manager.  

Your role@CHANEL: 

As a Commercial Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the Retail Manager and the commercial team in driving sales performance and ensuring operational excellence across Chanel’s wholesale network. This distribution network includes retailers of various types: department stores such as El Corte Inglés, national chains like Druni and Primor, international chains such as Sephora and Douglas, as well as small independent perfumeries. 

You will contribute to the optimization of sell out, monitor performance indicators, and ensure that commercial actions are effectively implemented across all centers. Through your analytical mindset and collaboration skills, you will help translate data into concrete business opportunities and action plans. 
 
Your mission will include the following key responsibilities, grouped into two main areas 

Transversal tasks supporting the entire Commercial department and all client types, such as: 

  •  Yoobic Leadership: Act as the key point of contact for the Yoobic application, used across Wholesale and ECI. Liaise with International and local sales teams, provide support and recommendations on tracked actions, analyze results, and ensure the effectiveness of this key field execution tool. 

  •  Wholesale Collaboration: Work transversally with the entire Commercial Department, ensuring strong connection, collaboration, and problem-solving across all teams. 

  •  Business Presentations: Support the Commercial Director in preparing presentations, providing data analysis, summaries, and performance insights. 

  •  Contracts Support: Provide support to the Commercial Director in managing contracts and administrative follow-up 

  •  Client Opening Files: Coordinate and manage the client opening process, ensuring all stakeholders (Commercial Direction, Area Managers, Marketing, and Operations) follow a standardized and efficient procedure. 

  •  Strategic Pampering: Support the definition and analysis of pampering actions, ensuring a strategic approach aligned with client objectives, business priorities, and key moments of the year.  

 

Specific tasks related to the Department Stores business and the partnership with El Corte Inglés, such as:  

  •  Sales Analysis: Monitor and analyze sales performance by store, region, and Beauty Confident, identifying trends and opportunities to drive growth.  

  •  Action Plan Design: Develop and follow up on action plans to support commercial objectives, ensuring alignment with the Retail Manager and other stakeholders. 

  •  Reporting: Prepare and update regular reports and ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making and provide visibility on business performance. 

  •  Market & Competitor Insights: Analyze market data (NPD and Marketing) to identify trends, gaps, and business opportunities beyond El Corte Inglés performance, supporting strategic decision-making. 

  •   Team Incentives: Design and monitor sales incentive programs for Beauty Confidents, ensuring motivation and alignment with business objectives. 

  •  Staff Movement Analysis: Assess the efficiency and profitability of staff movements across El Corte Inglés centers, providing insights to optimize resource allocation. 

  •  Operational Coordination: Ensure alignment and coordination with the Operations counterpart on the implementation of retail initiatives, launches, and events within the El Corte Inglés network. 

  •  Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with the Retail, Marketing, and Training teams to ensure consistency and efficiency in all commercial and retail actions.

What you can bring to the team: 

We are looking for an analytical and results-oriented professional, passionate about retail and commercial performance, and eager to develop in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

  •  Experience: At least 2–3 years in a retail or commercial role within Fragrance & Beauty Sector, ideally with exposure to data analysis or sales coordination 

  •  Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret sales data, identify key drivers, and propose actionable insights. 

  •  Excel Proficiency: Strong command of Excel for data tracking, analysis, and reporting. 

  •  Commercial Mindset: Understanding retail dynamics, sell out levers, and client service excellence. 

  •  Communication: Clear and effective communication skills, capable of engaging with internal teams and stakeholders. 

  •  Organization: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. 

  •  Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English. 

  •  Agility & Collaboration: Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
