Job Title: Chief of Staff  (Commercial)

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Chief of Staff to support our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) in driving the commercial success of our organization. The Chief of Staff will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of the Commercial team, facilitating communication, and executing key initiatives. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Strategic Support: Assist the CRO in developing and implementing commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage key projects and initiatives within the Commercial organization, ensuring timely and successful execution.
  • Communication: Serve as a liaison between the CRO and other departments, facilitating effective communication and collaboration.
  • Operational Efficiency: Streamline processes and workflows to enhance the efficiency and productivity of the Commercial team.
  • Data Analysis: Analyse market trends, performance metrics, and financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the CRO.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address operational challenges, providing solutions to improve overall performance.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation for the CRO and senior leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in a strategic or operational role within the Fintech, Investment Management or Consulting environment 
  • Strong project / programme management skills with a track record of successfully leading complex initiatives.
  • Proficiency in workshop facilitation and excellent presentation skills 
  • Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to be hands on and focus on the details without losing sight of the bigger picture 
  • Advanced research, writing, listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to mobilize stakeholders and form trusting relationships in a broad organizational context
  • Great collaboration skills, highly motivated team player with a positive mindset.
