You’ll sit within the Asset Portfolio Planning team, our connection point between trading, finance and operations - collaborating with diverse teams and providing insights that support senior leadership and boardlevel decisionmaking. If you enjoy working with data, partnering with a wide range of stakeholders, and contributing to the energy transition, this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building bestpractice financial and valuation models (DCF, NPV, IRR) using Excel, VBA and Python

  • Developing and maintaining assetlevel models that capture spend forecasts, performance expectations and technical parameters

  • Preparing clear, engaging presentations and papers for executive and board audiences

  • Collaborating with teams across trading, finance, operations and government relations

  • Managing timelines, milestones and deliverables across multiple projects

  • Supporting consistent spend evaluation and aligning project outcomes with corporate goals

What You’ll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering or a related discipline

  • High proficiency in financial modelling, including valuation and scenario analysis

  • Confidence using Excel and VBA

  • Python skills to support modelling, automation and analytical workflows

  • The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to a range of audiences
