Brown & Brown is Seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our growing team in Denver, CO.
Retain and grow business by servicing and managing client and prospective client relationships both internally and externally collaborating with team members to deliver exceptional customer service, achieve client satisfaction, and drive new business opportunities.
How You Will Contribute
- Establish, cultivate and manage customer relations with client and prospective decision-makers; as well as carrier partners and internal resources throughout the organization.
- Identify gaps in coverage and advise the client and prospective clients with options; as well as work through complex coverage needs.
- Responsible for loss analysis, providing coverage comparisons, review of policy forms, claims reporting and resolution, and responding to coverage questions for assigned book of business.
- Ensure matters are tended to in relation to the assigned book of business, including but not limited to processing policies/endorsements, invoicing, issuance of certificates of insurance, premium breakdowns, auto ID cards, policy changes.
- Manage the renewal process for all assigned and prospective clients including loss trend analysis, the negotiation of renewal pricing, stewardship reporting, as well as preparing and delivering the renewal proposals and binders.
- Grow book of business through networking and referrals to identify prospects, and cross-selling.
- Support sales team with new business meetings and implementation of new clients.
- Create and present educational materials for value-add services to clients and prospects.
- Review and resolve client disputes regarding complex claims.
- Ensure internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates meet client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
- Support training initiatives for new service and sales teammates.
- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Promote teamwork within department and profit center through support, knowledge sharing and a positive attitude.
- Promote a commitment to achieve or exceed internal and external performance standards.
- Participate in training opportunities to remain current on industry information, new product development, legislation, coverages, technology, and continuing education required for valid licensing.
- Attend internal and external meetings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license in good standing.
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Proficient knowledge of insurance coverages, contracts, and state regulations where business is conducted.
- Proficient knowledge in Microsoft Windows environment, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher. Able to create, edit, and merge letters, spreadsheets, labels, etc.
- Proficient knowledge use of office equipment (including but not limited to copy machines, printers, faxes, binding machine, etc.)
- College Degree in a business-related field. (preferred)
- Professional Designation specific to area of specialty (ie, ARM, CIC, RPLU) (preferred)
Pay Range
$100,000 - $130,000 Annual
The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
