Reporting to the Executive Manager – CommBank Health, you’ll work with the CommBank Health team, marketing and other stakeholders to influence strategy through leveraging research and data to support our engagement with the healthcare industry and clients.

In addition, you will assist with the day to day monitoring the performance of the portfolio and activities to support industry specific thought leadership and strategic initiatives for growth.

CommBank Health is the dedicated healthcare industry vertical established to provide specialised solutions and service to grow the Group’s healthcare customers.  CommBank Health is responsible for engaging with industry partners, designing and implementing strategy, policy and banker capability programs, to ensure that CommBank delivers it’s aspiration of becoming the #1 provider of banking and financial services solutions to the Australian healthcare industry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide data, research and reporting support to CommBank health team, including sourcing of external information (news, industry insights, proposed legislative changes, competitors), strategic activities and data trends to assist with strategy and policy development. 

  • Use data and research to provide insights and information to assist with industry changes and assess potential impacts 

  • Build a network of internal contacts to provide industry knowledge and insights for industry-focused presentations, industry reviews, and internal reporting documents. 

  • Conduct research and update various information sources to ensure accuracy and relevance for both internal and external stakeholders as well as maintaining a compliant framework. 

Your skills and experience: 

  • Experience in a Strategy, Marketing, and/or Data and Analytics team in Big 4 or Consultancy. Healthcare experience highly desired.

  • Strong insights and research ability, including solid data and reporting capabilities and familiarity with AI toolkit. 

  • Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including frontline distribution teams, risk, compliance and marketing, external industry bodies, and advisory firms.  

  • Strong sense of time management and urgency, with a focus on outcomes. 

  • Effective presentation building skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint. 

  • A tertiary qualification in Strategy/Marketing, Business/Finance and/or Commerce would be highly regarded.
