About This Job

Oversee a team of collections specialists working on auto, unsecured loan portfolios, as well as oversee third-party vendors handling collection activities

  • Oversee a minimal in-house staff of specialists working auto and unsecured loan portfolios, as well as overseeing third-party vendors handling collection activities

  • Evaluates current methods of collection operations for quality, efficiency, effectiveness, and cost consideration.

  • Supervises collections projects related to new services and products to ensure that specific collection goals are met.

  • Resolves diverse non-routine problems that deviate from standard collection policies as they occur.

  • Engages in efforts to minimize loss and meet assigned collection goals.

  • Individual will also be a collector. 70% IC collection role and then 30% supervisory

Experience Requirements

  • 3+ years' a collection/recovery supervisory position

  • Must be willing to work in an environment that requires phone-based customer interaction

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
