Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Collection Specialist to join out team at our corporate office in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have a background in Finance, Accounting or Economics.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage assigned accounts to ensure timely payment of outstanding customer invoices
- Contact customers to follow up on overdue balances
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues
- Update account stats records and collection efforts in internal systems
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve account issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or economics preferred
- Recent graduate, customer service, retail or up to 1 year of relevant experience considered
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques preferred
- Working knowledge of MS office products, Microsoft D365 a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with high volume workload
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
