Collateral Management - Assistant Vice President

Purpose of the Role

Provide strategic, operational, and people leadership for Collateral Management services transformation efforts, ensuring strong risk control, scalable operations, technology transformation, and high‑quality client & senior Management communication across all regions. This role is a Change the Bank Role.

Who we are looking for:

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst and Project Manager within Collateral Management to lead Transformation initiatives that modernize the collateral management service, improve risk coverage through process optimization, technology enablement and automation and Client Implementations to Collateral Management infrastructure.

In this role, you will also help shape AI‑enabled solutions that strengthen quality, improve consistency, and drive operational efficiency across the end‑to‑end collateral management lifecycle. This role blends deep business analysis expertise with disciplined project delivery. You will lead requirements discovery, process and workflow design, backlog readiness, and end‑to‑end execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. Working closely with leadership, business SMEs, technology and platform partners, you will ensure solutions are clearly defined, delivered on plan, aligned with governance expectations, and ready for adoption.

Collateral Management is critical to reducing counterparty credit risk through accurate margin calculations, timely margin calls, and effective collateral settlement. As the function undergoes significant technology and operating‑model transformation, this role ensures scalable, efficient, and well‑controlled delivery while supporting the strategic objectives of the Collateral organization.

What you will be responsible for:

As Assistant Vice President – Senior Business Analysts and PM, you will:

Own strategic Project Management initiative reporting, execution keeping executive Management informed on progress and present Risk to programs as applicable.

Own end‑to‑end service delivery solutioning & testing for collateral operations across clients and/or regions. Specifically related to technology implementations, conversions & enhancements.

Drive STP enablement and process optimization within Colline in partnership with Technology and vendors

Enhance client and internal reporting using Colline, Access, SQL, and related platforms including AI related tactical and strategic transformations.

Report, track and drive implementation of automation solutions to reduce manual effort and operational risk

Ensure robust controls, SOP adherence, and alignment with audit, regulatory, and risk frameworks related to change initiatives

Own ICAMs, issue management, and root‑cause remediation to prevent repeat incidents

Act as senior escalation points for clients and internal stakeholders for all conversions and onboards

Lead transformation initiatives including platform migrations, workflow redesign, and operating‑model improvements

Manage and develop senior talent, including hiring, performance management, succession planning, and coaching

Represent Collateral Management in senior client engagements and governance forums

Strong analytical capability and decision‑making under pressure

Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Macros, Colline, Tri‑resolve, SQL, MS Access, and/or AI tools

Strong Collaboration with OPS leadership

Typical Experience

12+ years of relevant experience in Collateral, Middle Office, Investment Operations, or related domains

Demonstrated strong Project Management experience and Business Analysis portfolio

Demonstrated leadership in a global or complex operating model

Education & Preferred Qualifications:

Graduate and above, preferably in Finance or Technology

B.Com, BBM/BBA, MBA (Finance), M.Com, or equivalent

NCFM / CISI certifications preferred

Certifications on collateral platforms or automation tools are an advantage
