Due to ongoing growth, HMH in Kintore are seeking Machinists to join the existing Workshop team. To be successful in this CNC Machinist role you will have a sound machining background, be confident in programming CNC mills and lathes, and working within tight tolerances.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines including VTL to produce products that meet required specifications
  • Perform work in compliance with all safety, environmental and quality expectations whilst supporting a production schedule
  • Accurately complete all required documentation
  • Inspect and ensure all dimensions are within print specifications and report any non-conformities

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Time served Machinist or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of Horizonal Borer KBM 135 CL and Vertical Turning Centre Hankook VT8 250 E
  • Experience in programming with Fanuc controller is essential for this role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of cutting tools, processes, hand tools and measuring equipment
  • Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
