We are currently moving to supplement our 2nd shift team in a rapid response and prototype environment that works 3 shifts on a 9/80 schedule.  Our immediate need is for a 2nd shift machinist which typically works from 3:00 PM to 12:30 AM.

A successful candidate can expect to work 1st shift (6:00 AM – 3:30 PM) for 2 – 10 weeks for initial onboarding and training before reporting to 2nd shift.  Once trained, overtime opportunities exist when workload supports.

As team member of the Rapid Reaction Factory, a CNC Machinist is responsible for managing and executing detailed, machined parts.  We utilize horizontal and vertical mills, lathes, trunnions, jig bores, and other equipment in our shop.  Our team often works on next-generation products that have the potential to be differentiators for our customers.  This fast-paced factory is not a classic production machine shop as the work we do is anything but typical.  A successful candidate will be working on projects varying from fabricating vital components for a critical production line, repair work to get essential equipment operational, or collaborating with design engineers to create a next-generation prototype.

This high-speed environment requires attention to detail, ability to work with a highly skilled and diverse team, and opportunity to grow your skillset by not doing the same thing day after day.  The Rapid Reaction Factory’s reputation is built on our ability to execute challenging projects to meet customer schedules.
