    As the High Volume Manufacturing Engineering CMP Shift Process Lead Engineer, you will guide a team of engineers and technicians while driving performance across safety, quality, and output. You’ll be the primary contact for shift‑level issues, lead daily priorities, and ensure your team is trained, supported, and empowered. This role is ideal for someone who loves solving complex problems, thrives in a collaborative environment, and wants to play a direct role in bringing Micron’s new Boise fab to life.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead a shift team of engineers and technicians; set priorities and ensure alignment across safety, quality, and output
    • Drive area/shift performance by monitoring KPIs, reducing defects, improving yield, and resolving LHI, equipment, and process issues
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for excursions, line‑downs, critical tools, ROC tasks, and cycle‑time impacts
    • Run Daily Area Meetings, communicate updates, partner across shifts and functions, and guide resolution of technical issues
    • Manage performance, training, workforce readiness, and development plans for direct reports

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent semiconductor industry experience
    • Experience in a high‑volume manufacturing or technical environment
    • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set priorities, and drive performance
    • Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work any shift and rotate as required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
    • Previous leadership or shift‑lead experience
    • Experience with CMP processes or fab operations
    • Background in tool performance, yield improvement, or defect reduction
