The Opportunity:

Focuses on analyzing and improving maintenance processes and workflows and enhancing the reliability and performance of systems and processes. Contributes to the development and implementation of new maintenance and/or reliability procedures, standards, or operational plans, supporting overall maintenance and reliability strategies. Manages smaller reliability related projects to improve system uptime, predictability, and maintenance efficiency. Analyzes specific maintenance processes or programs to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Documents findings, including results of root cause analysis, and facilitates the implementation of necessary changes to ensure product and/or equipment reliability levels are maintained or improved. Develops maintenance schedules and plans to prevent equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of machinery. Ensures maintenance activities align with production schedules and organizational goals, implements safety protocols, ensures compliance with regulatory standards, and provides training and guidance to maintenance staff on best practices and new procedures. Communicates findings and collaborates with internal teams as well as external contacts, including vendors or service providers, to ensure alignment and support for maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Administration: Manage day-to-day administration of the eMaint X5 CMMS, including user access, security roles, permissions, and system configurations.

  • GxP and Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure the eMaint X5 system remains in a validated state, adhering to GxP (Good Manufacturing Practice, Good Laboratory Practice, etc.), FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.

    • Support internal and external audits by providing timely access to system documentation, audit trails, and reports, and serving as the system SME during inspections.

    • Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and IT to manage system change controls and ensure all updates are documented and tested appropriately.

  • Documentation and SOP Management:

    • Develop, write, revise, and enforce system Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and related documentation for CMMS usage.

    • Ensure all documentation is current, accurate, and reflects actual business processes and regulatory requirements.

  • Deployment and Training:

    • Coordinate the rollout and implementation of the eMaint X5 system to new and existing sites, including data migration and configuration.

    • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs and support materials to end-users (technicians, supervisors, managers) to ensure effective and compliant system use.

  • Data Management and Reporting:

    • Maintain data integrity within the CMMS, ensuring accurate asset hierarchies, preventive maintenance (PM) schedules, work orders, inventory records, and equipment histories.

    • Generate and analyze reports and dashboards on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as equipment downtime, work order completion rates, and compliance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

  • Troubleshooting and Vendor Management: Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, escalating technical problems to the vendor (eMaint/Fluke Reliability) or internal IT teams as needed.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$60,100.00 - $100,100.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
