The Open Coverage Account Manager is responsible for working with customers to establish good rapport and provide solutions. This role involves working independently on a limited basis as directed by the Regional Manager, with much of the sales efforts taking place over the telephone and web meetings. The Open Coverage Account Manager will gain field sales experience by traveling to customer locations as needed.
About the Role
- To support new sales and growth initiatives by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders within clients to maximise opportunities for cross selling and up selling.
- To develop excellent client relationship through face to face customer visits, telephone calls and email communication in order to understand their evolving needs and identify solutions to meet those needs.
- To identify opportunities for cross selling and upselling by understanding customers’ needs and identifying solutions to meet those needs.
- To work collaboratively with internal teams to devise effective strategies to win new business and increase market share.
- To undertake complex sales processes involving multiple decision makers and influencers.
- To negotiate and close sales opportunities.
- To use product proposition and value messages to engage customers and position products and services as the best solution to meet their requirements.
- To create and deliver large group presentations and web based technology demonstrations to showcase products and services.
- To provide consultative selling to solve customer problems and address customer needs.
- To build partnerships internally and externally to facilitate opportunity creation.
About You

- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify ways to sell additional products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship building and communications skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload to ensure deadlines are met.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Self-motivated and confident to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
- Strong computer literacy including good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Results oriented approach with a focus on driving revenue and increasing market share.
- Experience of using CRM systems would be beneficial.
