Job Description:

Summary: 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a File Scanning and Organization Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for scanning physical documents, organizing digital files, and ensuring the accuracy and accessibility of our document management system. This role is to support the digitization of records related to the Airlie Foundation.


Responsibilities:

  • Scan physical documents and convert them into digital formats.

  • Organize and categorize digital files in a systematic manner.

  • Ensure all scanned documents are accurately named and stored in the appropriate folders.

  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

  • Perform regular audits of digital files to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of document management policies and procedures.

Position Type/Expected Hours Of Work:

  • Part-Time.

  • Schedule will consist of 6 hours of work per work, 2 hours, 3 days a week between 9am-5pm for up to 3 months of employment or until the project is completed.

  • Work will be performed in person.

Compensation:

  • $17.50 per hour.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Must be a current AU student.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Proficiency with scanning equipment and document management software.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Additional education or certification in document management is a plus.
