⭐ Join us as a Banking IFRS and Reporting Specialist to strengthen Qonto's financial reporting capabilities. You'll play a crucial role in internalizing our consolidation and accounting standards, with a particular focus on IFRS 9 implementation and regulatory reporting to support our growth journey.
👩💻🧑💻 As a Banking IFRS and Reporting Specialist at Qonto, you will:
• Define and stabilize Qonto's IFRS 9 accounting policy and lead the preparation of financial statement disclosures related to banking operations
• Provide IFRS expert guidance on technical banking operations (including impact and gap analysis) to various teams, notably the ALM and Corporate Finance teams, and implement any new IFRS guidance applicable (IFRS 18)
• Develop and implement comprehensive regulatory reporting frameworks aligned with industry standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on accounting policies
• Create and implement training materials to build internal understanding of complex accounting norms across the organization

• Your work will directly influence Qonto's financial communication with investors and stakeholders, playing a crucial role in our strategic growth.
• You'll work across multiple teams including Corporate Development, FP&A, and with auditors, providing a broad and impactful scope of work, becoming the IFRS 9 expert within teams.

, your manager, brings a wealth of experience in accounting and consolidation gathered from her first years in audit and corporate environments. Her leadership style promotes autonomy and growth, creating an environment where you can thrive and develop your expertise.
🏅 About You:
• You have at least 5 years of experience with IFRS standards, particularly IFRS 9, ideally gained in a financial institution or a banking department in a Big 4 consulting firm.
• You excel at building relationships with external providers and cross-functional teams, with proven experience in driving consensus on complex accounting matters.
• You have a track record of solving complex accounting challenges and implementing new standards.
• You can explain complex IFRS concepts to non-finance stakeholders and create clear technical documentation for financial statements.
This is a full-time position based in Paris, with the possibility of two days of remote work per week following Qonto's standard telecommuting policy.
