Director of Sales -Affiliate Marketing Group

Position Summary:
The Director of Sales for the Affiliate Marketing Group will report directly to the President of Affiliate Marketing. The Affiliate Marketing Group comprises of both TUNE and CAKE teams and platforms. We are looking for an ambitious, Affiliate Marketing sales leader with experience selling digital solutions (online advertising, technology, SaaS) to network, advertising and publishing businesses. This leader should have a proven track record of success building and scaling high performing sales teams and achieving revenue targets. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can be hands on in driving sales efforts including pipeline development, sales execution, product training, and ongoing leadership in our organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage a lean, global team sales professionals who are experts at selling affiliate marketing solutions.
- Ensure sales professionals are well-prepared and have the resources and support to exceed their goals.
- Develop and execute strategic plans related to go-to market strategies that exceed revenue targets.
- Oversee the effective development and implementation of strategic plans to help scale the sales team to sell both TUNE and CAKE products.
- Represent the brands and help generate sales through direct engagement with prospects.
- Improve Sales Processes, productivity and engagement.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of pipeline management, sales methods, costs, and results.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to develop promotions and campaigns that drive proper demand to drive lead generation.
- Manage sales processes across functional boundaries (e.g. pricing approval, contract review and approval).
- Ensure the effective use of salesforce.com and connected digital tools like Gong, Groove and HubSpot.
- Create a positive work environment and be a motivator for the sales team.
- Develop personal portfolio of prospects and leverage own network to drive new sales.
- Assist sales professionals with closing new deals and developing their pipelines from solicitation through sales calls through close.
- Lead win back prospecting efforts campaigns to earn back clients lost during prior business milestones.
- Collaborate across functional boundaries to solicit, sell and service new clients.
Qualifications:
- At least 7 years overall sales experience selling digital marketing solutions with 3+ years in a management position.
- Proven track record exceeding quota and driving results through sales productivity.
- Demonstrated proof of developing a repetitive sales processes and/or playbooks
- Strong leader who is action oriented and "leads from the front".
- Ability to make swift decisions, adapt to changes while staying on the course and delivering results.
- Ability to learn and sell technology platforms
- Bachelor's Degree or similar.
