We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team in Red Bank, NJ. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to start their career in accounting and finance. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and processing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing excellent customer service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and post customer payments accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate and send out invoices to customers.
  • Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure timely collection.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account information.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Provide support to the finance team as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in accounts receivable or a related field is a plus, but not required.
