Organizational Planning Manager

Schedule Information: Flexibility in schedule to accommodate organizational meetings which can occasionally include evenings.

Reports to the Director, the manager of Organizational Planning is a highly visible position that is responsible for working collaboratively with health system leadership to ensure alignment with the system strategic plan and organizational objectives. The manager manages the annual objective process, strategic objective process, and the corresponding provider and associate value-based incentive cascade. In addition, the manager owns and governs organizational internal communications best practices to ensure alignment and effectiveness.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBITIES:

  • Understand and uphold SEP’s Mission, Vision and Values. 
  • Support mission, business plan, policies, and budget for St. Elizabeth Physicians.
  • Attend all required meetings. Be on-time and prepared with any necessary information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  •  Daily management of the program/team.
  •  Define controls, processes, procedures, reporting, etc., to manage the work.
  •  Manage the program budget.
  • Manage risks/issues.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team-based decision-making culture.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently resulting in effective outcomes and on-time performance.
  •  Experience in planning and coordinating multi-disciplinary communications strategies, strategic initiatives, and events. 
  • Must respond and follow through to requests from customers promptly.
  • Must work carefully and precisely with attention to detail.
  • Must utilize resources wisely.
  • Performs duties willingly and with initiative.  Shares necessary information so co-workers can do the same.  
  • Cooperates with other departments and work groups.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to inform decision-making.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and familiarity with planning and reporting tools.
  •  Proficiency in internal communication tools (Cerkle, MS Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

EDUCATION:

Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree 

Preferred: Master’s Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:


Minimum: 5 years of experience in meeting facilitation and project coordination. Direct experience working with Executives, Advisory Boards, or Committees. 

Preferred: 1 year leadership/coaching.
