Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. PURPOSE OF POSITION: Are you a creative storyteller with a passion for the mountains and outdoor adventure? The Owner Engagement Coordinator at the Deer Valley Club (DVC) plays a key role in shaping our brand by creating compelling visual content and connecting with our community. Working closely with the General Manager and Assistant General Manager, this role brings our year-round destination to life through videography, photography, social media, snow reporting, and event support.

With a focus on building engagement and fostering connections, the coordinator will curate and publish fresh, engaging content on our primary social media channels: Facebook and Instagram.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Content Creation: Film, edit, and produce high-quality video and photo content that aligns with the DVC brand.
• Content Calendar Management: Develop and manage an annual content calendar to maintain brand voice consistency and support business objectives.
• Social Media Management:
• Conceptualize, create, curate, and schedule content for Facebook and Instagram.
• Monitor and respond to comments, messages, tags, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
• Analytics and Reporting: Collect and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and refine future strategies.
• Networking: Build and maintain relationships with local and regional partners, including Deer Valley Resort, Park City businesses, Ski Utah, and Alterra Mountain Company properties.
• Collaboration: Work closely with DVC Management and the Board of Directors to stay updated on social media trends, establish engagement goals, and share progress through regular updates and reports.
• Event Support: Assist with planning and executing events, capturing the spirit of the Club through storytelling and visuals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Outgoing personality with strong organizational skills and a background in marketing, communications, photography, or videography.
• Exceptional teamwork and communication skills.
• Passion for the outdoor recreation industry and snow sports.
• Ability to create relatable and engaging content that connects with snow sports and outdoor enthusiasts, while fostering Club membership engagement and interest in DVC among prospective members.

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT:

• 12/2024 - 4/20/2025 (Part Time)

PAY RATE:

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
