We are actively hiring for a Commercial Claim Sr. Supervisor (non-injury)!
Your Role:
As a Commercial Claim Sr. Supervisor (non-injury), you will supervise claims in a multi-line/multi-state environment, evaluate coverage questions and provide decisions associated with approvals. You will evaluate and provide guidance and settlement authority on cases above the representative’s authority.

Operations/Performance Management:
Sets and monitors required goals and targets for the staff in support of the company, divisional and department strategy.
Monitors workload and reviews claims to ensure quality processing.
Ensures consistent and high-quality service levels; consistent ongoing monitoring of customer service levels and service quality improvement.
Supervises the investigation, processing, and conclusion of all claims.
Reviews files with the adjuster for authority.
Performs Quality Assurance Reports (QARS).
Works collaboratively with other departments on projects and offers assistance with expertise.
Participates in the committee review process.
Supervises the use of internal and external resources to effectively manage costs.
Demonstrates agile mindset and change management skills.
Company Claims Procedures:
Ensures compliance with company procedures and Department of Insurance (DOI) regulations.
Responsible for ensuring DOI and customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
Participates in Personnel activities in collaboration with the Manager and Human Resources:
Communicates and enforces administrative policies and operating procedures.
Communicates changes in policy and procedures.
Responsible for conducting performance appraisals and recommending salary actions including promotions and terminations.
Recognizes employee achievement and counsels employees on performance issues.
Required Experience, Education and Skills:
3-5 years of experience in progressively responsible professional and/or supervisory position within a claims environment.
BA/BS in business, insurance or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in handling simple to complex liability claims.
What would make us excited about you?
Prior supervisory experience within a claims environment preferred.
Experience handling Mobilitas and/or Commercial Auto Claims preferred.
Familiarity with Choice policy and/or Non-Standard policy and claims handling preferred.
Casualty/Litigation background.
Associate in Claims (AIC) certificate and/or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU).
Outstanding interpersonal, critical thinking and decision-making abilities.
Ability to lead, coach, mentor, evaluate, inspire, empower, and provide training, guidance, and constructive feedback.
Has thorough knowledge of insurance policies (multiple states), claim procedures, DOI regulations and can work on multiple claims platforms.
General knowledge of human resource processes and procedures.
Ability to travel and work extended hours including weekends as needed.
Licensing in multiple states.
Bilingual a plus.

The national average salary range for this position is $99,810.00-$110,900.00 per year. However, we have a location-based compensation structure. Our salary ranges vary and are calculated based on county of residence. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $89,910.00-$133,200.00 per year. This role also includes an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 12% of eligible pay.
