About The Role

Great opportunity to get in on the ground level with Solenis. We need an enthusiastic reliable and energetic personality to work with and support our technical sales team. You’ll need to like get your hands dirty but also have a keen eye for detail. The role is based in Melbourne and requires travel to various sites.

Ideally (but not essential) you are science or engineering qualified, most important is an analytical aptitude and above everything else is the right attitude.

More about the role but not limited to:

  • Immediate start
  • full time role
  • Field based role on customer sites
  • laboratory testing, inventory management, equipment checks and basic maintenance, conducting service reports, and communicating effectively with customers

About you

To be successful in this role and a key contributor to our commercial team, you will need the following:

  • Current Australian driving license and own vehicle
  • Science or engineering degree – preferred
  • Previous field work experience in similar industry
  • Analytical aptitude
  • Hands on/mechanical skills
  • MS Office suite tools – essential
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • Previous experience in a chemical handling (highly regarded)
  • Strong communication skills, ability to speak clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts
  • Strong emphasis on accuracy to ensure high quality of work
