Job Title: Global Technology Operations – IT Service Management - Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Primary Responsibilities
Job duties and responsibilities, not limited to:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow Platform strategy, governance, and solution architecture.
- Ideation, design, and development of ServiceNow platform.
- Develop, configure and customize ServiceNow – collecting requirements, writing implementation plans, creating workflows, write JavaScript, customize the UI, and manage groups & roles.
- Manage ServiceNow instances (dev, test, prod) including upgrade process and promotion of changes between environments.
- Coordinate with other ServiceNow resources to define development standards and processes to promote code changes within the instances
- Utilize web services (SOAP and REST), email and other relevant technology to integrate 3rd party systems with ServiceNow
- Automation of processes using ServiceNow Orchestration and other relevant modules and technologies as well as managing data using ETL between ServiceNow and other systems
- Analyze user requirements and current procedures in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows
- Proficient in JavaScript, and HTML
- Development of reports, views and dashboards in ServiceNow and in the consumption of ServiceNow data by other tools/processes
- Create and maintain API and data integration processes between ServiceNow and other services
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and related work experience.
- 3+ years of experience with ServiceNow required
- Experience with HTML and Java Script required, Knowledge of Jelly script preferred.
- Good understanding of ITIL frameworks and processes including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management and Request Fulfillment
- Knowledge of LDAP/Active Directory.
- Experience with MID Server, Orchestration and extending the ServiceNow data model
- Certified ServiceNow Application Developer and System Administrator preferred
- ServiceNow Implementation Specialist Certification is a plus
