Dogs, cats, budgies and everything in between - pets deserve the world. They make us want to be better humans. That’s why we’ve made it our mission to build the most engaged and passionate community of pets and pet parents across the world. And we’re looking for talented team mates who can help us do it.

Founded in Sydney, our team of 500+ pet obsessives span Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. We’ve scaled to become one of Australia's top five eCommerce companies and the no.1 online pet store. But we’re just getting started. Like a whippet who’s spotted their mate across the dog park, our growth is only going to accelerate, as we continue to disrupt the way that pet parents shop.

Excitingly, the pet industry is booming (as in $15 billion kind of booming) and online pet retail is set to grow exponentially in the next five years. So this is a unique career opportunity to be part of our epic growth story.

The Opportunity
Our Brand and Creative team is a skilled group of designers, brand marketers and creatives, working to elevate the shopping experience for pet families across Australia. We are looking for a Creative Production and Ecommerce Visual Manager to join our in-house creative team as we embark on the next phase of growth.

As Creative Production and Ecommerce Visual Manager you will flex your production muscles across both eCommerce and Creative shoots. Moving between owning end-to-end product photography and motion, content creators and larger lifestyle shoots - this is a unique role that impacts all aspects of creative across the funnel marketing channel.
In this role, reporting to the VP, Brand and Creative, you will lead the smooth movement of workflow from brief to execution, through to post-production and launch. You are the first point of contact for briefs coming into the Creative Team and the the key liaison with stakeholders across Marketing, Category Management, UX, and Tech. You will manage all communication in relation to shoot timelines and deliverables.

You will own the end-to-end-eCommerce (SKU production) workflow, from creating and setting image guidelines, SKU identification, liaising with Buyers and Fulfilment Centre team to call-in samples, managing shoot lists, booking photography staff and running retouching and QA. .You will create and own image guidelines and ensure ongoing QA meets Brand Standards. You will own our key imagery KPIs, ensuring fast turnaround of SKU photography, while building a longer-term testing framework, to ensure we are producing best-in-class content to support eCommerce conversion.

As Creative Production Manager, you will also lead the project management of all creative content streams. Working across monthly and seasonal creative planning cycles, ensuring no deadlines are missed, and creative is executed to a high standard at all times. You will have the confidence and experience being on set, partially in eCommerce photography and video, and can flex into larger creative projects that may encompass in-house shoot, UGC, and external production houses.

It goes without saying, that run sheets, briefs, shoot-lists and retouching notes are second nature to you. You know what the difference between a PPM, PreProd and Retro means. Gantt charts make you happy and a tightly controlled budget file brings you joy. Having a keen creative eye to match talent to brief and being able to support in post-production will ensure your success in this role.  You will need to have the ability to source and manage a pool of mostly external freelance and casual  talent and be confident in assessing project briefs and managing the flow of work within the creative team.
