About the role:
As an Implementation Conversion Analyst, you will be the face of FIS, working closely with our clients as they implement our solutions as we change the way the world banks. You will examine data files, processes, forms, reports and operational needs of our customers, in order to facilitate data mapping and system conversions. After assessing all client needs, you will create a roadmap that will guide clients through the process while you teach them our products and coach them through setup and integration.

About the team: Loan Conversion Analysts manage implementations of the FIS IBS Loan System for new and existing customers. Acting as the primary liaison between clients and FIS technical staff, the conversion analyst leads a team of individuals trough the conversion process. This includes analyzing customer needs, establishing bank control lending parameters, mapping and verification of loan data, defining operational procedures, and providing customer support. The position requires strong analytical, organization and communication skills in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Position requirements desired: five or more years loan operations experience, knowledge of FIS IBS loan system and/or experience with the Secondary Mortgage Market and working knowledge of reporting, and remitting of monthly accounting reports to FNMA, FHLMC, and GNMA. Must have the ability to manage multiple projects of varying size and complexity. Some travel required.

What you will be doing:
• Conducting data analysis, product mapping and client interviews to assess data requirements for software utilization.
• Creating data maps and transaction workflow documents that show exactly how every field will be converted.
• Performing tests to ensure new, customized software meets customer specific needs.
• Coordinating and conducting readiness reviews to ensure conversion is proceeding correctly.
• Training customers on new systems and procedures.

What you will need:
• The ability to translate client requirements to technical specifications and then explain these concepts to customer groups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as excellent human relations, negotiation and documentation skills.
• A bachelor’s in business or a related field or the equivalent experience.

Added bonus if you have:

  • Financial technology industry experience
  • Knowledge of FIS IBS loan system
  • Experience with the Secondary Mortgage Market. Working knowledge of reporting and remitting of monthly accounting reports to FNMA, FHLMC and GNMA.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $77,100.00 - $125,680.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
