Senior Reliability Analyst proactively identify, report, and drive initiatives to continuously improve maintenance performance across Noble Corporation’s fleet of offshore drilling units. Senior Reliabil-ity Analyst is a key contributor and overall responsible for development, implementation and mon-itoring of reliability strategies and decision support tools.

Through reliability methods and processes, data science and risk management tools Senior Reliabil-ity Analyst support Noble Corporation in selection of optimal maintenance strategies.

Bridging business needs and advanced technology like Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence is a fundamental attribute to the role as a Senior Reliability Analyst. Role is main focal point for equipment remaining useful life calculations and simulations of asset lifetime under various envi-ronmental and process conditions.

Essential Functions

  • Actively participate in setting and striving to achieve the Company’s Corporate and Department annual goals.
  • Gather and examine reliability data from maintenance records and operational data, correlate the data for analysis using well defined engineering techniques and principles.
  • Development of fault tree and event tree analysis for offshore drilling assets
  • Development, implementation and monitoring of remaining useful life of offshore drilling assets
  • Perform system analysis based on reliability block diagrams, Weibull distribution
  • Analyze optimal replacement time for assets and parts
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis on equipment and service failures; identify root causes of incidents and detail recommended preventative / corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliability and statistical analysis as an integral part of how maintenance is evaluated, and changes/improvements documented.
  • Assess technology supporting data driven decision-making and create its implementation plan
  • Prepare detailed reports on system survivability and possible improvements, and as needed, present them to internal staff, management, and clients.
  • Supporting Condition Based Maintenance programs by providing RCM based recommendations for how risk is controlled.
  • Seek optimization cases by using sensor data
  • Provide input on Noble`s behalf to industry organizations and working groups such as IADC, API, CRF, ASME, etc.
  • Other duties and projects assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Masters’s degree in engineering or of equivalent relevant experience
  • 10+ years of experience with reliability, risk management and/or system performance analysis.
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical products and systems.
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI
  • Ability to create SQL, KQL queries, Python knowledge
  • Experience in development of solutions from initial idea stage to proof of concept or MVP.
  • Ability to scope, analyze results, and recommend corrective action to improve reliability and performance in offshore drilling operation.
  • Experienced with applicable industry and regulatory codes, standards, and recommended practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and other appropriate software
  • Knowledge of reliability tools like FMECA, Weibull, RAM, RBD etc.
  • Strong technical writing skills.
  • Strong ability to work independently and with others.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Curious by nature and gets motivated by expanding capabilities
  • Pragmatic mindset that always seeks simplicity and practicality when solving problems.
  • Knowledge of maintenance strategies and best practice in maintenance
