We are seeking a Parts and Service Manager for our team in Eugene, Oregon.

In this role, you will lead the Part Sales and Service departments through the sales and execution processes. You will work with the other key departments of BHS to provide input and expertise on Parts and Service with current and potential customers to support overall company business objectives. You will also ensure the Part Sales and Field Service staff are trained and execute company policies and best practices for warranty and contingency support, service orders, part sales, preventative maintenance programs, optimizations, training, equipment audits and upgrade programs to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in manufacturing, parts and/or service management
  • Must have strong communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact and work cross-functionally with all teams in the company
  • Must be organized, analytical and tactical
  • Proven track record in managing and developing strong customer relationships
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and project leadership skills required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and data reporting
  • Prior experience with ERP system
  • Working knowledge of inside/outside sales and account management
  • Experience in training and development of employees

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales for BHS Parts and Service to customers with BHS installed equipment through a team of inside and outside sales and service technicians
  • Prepare parts and service plans and strategies that are aligned with overall corporate plans
  • Maintain records and document trends with regards to sales, revenue, and margin
  • Be responsible for service and parts proposals including execution
  • Improve and manage costs and pricing on all service and spare parts orders
  • Set and maintain after sales rates, policies, and standards
  • Meet with customers on a regular basis to ensure complete awareness of BHS overall solutions and services
  • Provide superior customer service to all internal and external customers
  • Contribute to company financial objectives by identifying cost reductions, materials reduction, team efficiencies, etc.
  • Lead P&Ls for service, parts and warranty business
  • Be responsible for providing guidance, performance, accountability, management, training and development of the Service Technicians, Service Coordinator, and Inside Spare Parts Team
  • Recommend to Director the promotions, transfers, hires and terminations of group members as needed by working closely with the HR Department
  • Travel regularly (up to 50%) to customer and vendor locations, both domestic and international
