Join Our Team – Mobius has an exciting position for a motivated mid-level analyst to bring their experience to support Missile Defense Agency’s Wargames and Exercises Directorate (MDA/DTW). Mobius provides professional engineering and analysis expertise supporting various government agencies to solve some of the nation’s most challenging problems. We are at the leading edge of technology supporting advanced missile defense system testing, engineering, analysis and wargames/exercises.
Colorado Springs – Our MDA analysts and engineers work in modern, well-appointed government facilities on Schriever Space Force Base (SFB), Colorado. Schriever SFB is located just east of Colorado Springs and is certainly a hub of missile / space operations, research and development. You will collaborate with other missile defense experts – military, government civilians, and various contractors – to support MDA’s missile defense testing and evaluation activities that are integral to delivering state-of-the art sensors, weapons and command/control systems to the warfighter.
The Modeling and Simulation Analyst will be capable of executing tasks associated with supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) exercises with designing, building, and running modeling and simulations of ballistic missile defense systems and ballistic missile threats. The candidate will execute planning, configuring, monitoring, and implementation of Missile Defense System (MDS) parameters into simulation software such as Missile Defense Advanced Simulation (MDASIM) and Extended Air Defense Simulation (EADSIM) to support distributive virtual and constructive exercises modeling BMD systems and ballistic missile threats.
Duties of a Modeling and Simulation Analyst may include:
- Support the technical lead in all aspects of MDS Wargames and Exercises modeling and simulation.
- Conduct element pre-test coordination, event execution, pre- and post-mission testing.
- Responsibilities range from conducting weekly planning meetings to technical activities involving diverse network / architecture configurations.
- Configure and conduct on-console support on designated modeling and simulation workstations that support CCMD and MDA BMD exercises
- Assist with identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD Wargames and Exercises
- Familiar with the DoD Joint Event Life Cycle process
- Familiar with MDASIM, Open Systems Sensor Models (OSM), EADSIM or other M&S software
- Software development experience desired
- Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability to configure and operate Windows and LINUX workstations
- Experience in DoD test processes and/or test execution desired
- CompTIA Security+ desired
Education
- BA/BS degree with 7 years relevant experience (10 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the BA/BS degree requirement)
Clearance
- Active Secret clearance required
