We are looking for a talent with strong organizational skills and attention to details, to be part of our Americas Husbandry Team as a Husbandry Procurement Analyst in Santos office.
Wilhelmsen Port Services (WPS) is part of the Wilhelmsen holding, which has been a global provider of services and products to the maritime industry for over 162 years. As part of a global corporation, we support the business processes of the entire organization and all maritime fleet customers around the world, providing port services, maritime products and services in general.
To support the further development of the organization, we are looking for a person to join Husbandry team.

Main responsibilities
Provide in-depth suppliers and marketing analysis
Data support for negotiation and business reviews (marketing data: raw material, exchange rate etc; business data: historical spend, volumes etc.)
Data support for procurement strategy.
Price reviews: ensure the correct prices are implemented, calculate the effect of new quotations etc.
Track and calculate cost saving & cost avoidance (in near cooperation with supply chain analyst).
Data support for other related teams (Business manager etc.).
Support manager with initial sourcing.
Support Global Procurement Managers.
Ensure understanding and implementation of, and compliance with, corporate governance throughout WPS’s procurement practices and organisation.
Qualifications
- Master degree, preferably within economics or business administration
- Min. 2 year work experience from consulting, sales, marketing or finance related professions
- Analytical and structured with commercial mind-set
- Proven communication skills and a good command of the English language (verbal and written)
- Ability to get a cross a complex analysis in a simple way
- IT literate, with extensive experience from working with excel, MS office, etc.
- Accurate, precise and systematic nature
- Reasonable standard with experience rather than formal education
- Experience from the marine industry, preferably ships agency operations
- Ability to work independently and systematically
- Ability and aptitude to learn is a must – training can be provided to bring the candidate up to speed with the requisite knowledge to perform the job
