Key Accountabilities
- Provide leadership and direction to the plant operations team.
- Leads strategy deployment for the Plant initiatives and growth. Leads Manufacturing functions to ensure operational efficiency.
- Accelerating value creation for our customers through responsive end-to-end supply chain performance and prompt resolution to customer inquiries.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Develop strategic plans and budgets to drive continuous and sustainable improvements through the application of disruptive technology, lean six sigma methods, and effective employee engagement programs.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve associate engagement and morale.
- Collaborate with the commercial team to support Zurn Elkay’s third-party sales rep network and meet customer expectations.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the quality control team to maintain product quality standards.
- Develop and manage the plant budget, including forecasting and cost control measures.
- Ability to work cross functionally with the following Departments: Finance, Quality, Customer Care, Engineering, Information Technology, and Production Control and Planning.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a plant management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated strong leadership ability and history of leading high-performance teams.
- Experience and certification with Lean Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing methodologies is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience in operational excellence, lean implementation, and financial accounting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Advanced knowledge of ERP and CRM applications, with an emphasis on Microsoft Dynamics 365.
