NorthWest Arkansas Community College is seeking qualified applicants responsible for teaching students in a specialized technical area. Job Description

  • Assists in planning, developing, implementing, and/or following up on interventions, programs, and/or services to students.
  • Instructs students in by lecturing in classroom and laboratory settings and developing and providing individual instruction, as required.
  • Maintains accurate and complete records, as required by law, established policy, and administrative directions.
  • Interprets policies, programs, and procedures related to the delivery of services.
  • Seeks, selects, and uses resources compatible with student/program needs.
  • Implements a variety of strategies or approaches to meet the needs of students, including consulting with students, and faculty or staff, as necessary.
  • Assesses and documents attainment of program objective(s).
  • Demonstrates proficiency in administering, evaluating, and interpreting data from instruments or records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Rate of pay: $765 per credit hour as an instructor

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Experience with leadership at a community college or educational institution is a plus. Demonstrated teaching ability is the top priority. Instructional experience and leadership experience at a community college is a priority. Ability to use an on-line platform. On-line delivery of instruction, use of technology for instruction, and experience or interest in project based, service learning, or inquiry based learning will be given special consideration. Knowledge of good laboratory procedures, governmental safety regulations regarding lab safety is desirable.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist or Physical Therapists Assistant.
  • One plus years of experience working in Pediatrics.
